Compatibility with biblatex

Since bibunits has a conflict error with biblatex, this package doesn't load when biblatex is loaded. Is it possible to not load bibunits? For instance, when using bibliography=common.

Indeed, there is no reason to load bibunits when bibliography=common, fixed in 7491d48. Can you try develop/apxproof.sty to see if this fixes your issue (just put it in your working directory)? If so, I will release version 1.1.2 with this fix (and others) included.

For bibliography=separate, the only option I see would be to switch from bibunits to biblatex. This should not be difficult to implement, but I was a bit reluctant to do this, since biblatex is a huge dependency. Maybe I am being too conservative on this.

Thanks, it works now. Regarding bibilography=separate, can you add the support for biblatex, but make it optional?
