Large scale editor voxel edit performance improvements

There is noticeable freezing when painting on large scale worlds that necessitate a larger brush size (I tried with brushsize 2000 at voxel size 50). In truth, even that brush size is small for large worlds and makes editing at scale problematic. Have also tried the 2D brush.

It would be wonderful if there was a way to increase performance so that editing at scale is less painful.
