Rapid changes to thread count cause crashes in libapriltag native

What it says. Reproducilbe by just swinging the thread count around.

Ideally - hook up a debugger to see where it's crashing, and if it can be fixed easily.

Hackier - rate limit the thread change number to band-aid over it.
