Stops working when using both geyser AND vivecraftvelocityextensions at the same time

If I use velocityresourcepacks alongside geyser or vivecraftvelocityextensions, it works fine but I get an error and the resource pack is not sent if I try and use both at the same time, I think this is something to do with checking if the player is joining from bedrock so is there a way to disable this check?
