Binary for OSX Big Sur
I couldn't find a binary for the latest build to install on OSX. Is there a FlatPack version for it that I can download?
We have a flatpak version on flathub.
Do you mind sharing the link with me please? I didn't know what flavor of linux to select.
Alternatively, I could build a binary for myself with some help. I am able to run the project using the instructions in the README.
The flathub page is: https://flathub.org/apps/details/org.phoenicis.playonlinux
However, I don't quite understand why you're looking for flatpak for OSX. I'm not aware that flatpak works on OSX.
That's what I thought. I wasn't sure if there was one available which is why I asked. But you mentioned there was a flatpak version available so I thought maybe I missed something.
I just need a binary to install, don't care if it's flatpak or something else.
The flatpak is for Linux.
I'm trying to upload the build artifacts in #2409. I was expecting that the packaging creates a .dmg for Mac OS, but I can only find a directory (https://github.com/PhoenicisOrg/phoenicis/suites/3035440863/artifacts/68893730). Does it help?
Ok, nevermind. The .app should be the bundle. I was confused because it's shown as a regular directory on Linux.
You can find the artifacts when clicking on the CI badge in the README. The currently latest one is: https://github.com/PhoenicisOrg/phoenicis/actions/runs/952303699.
I keep running into You do not have permission to open the application “Phoenicis PlayOnMac.app”.
on Big Sur. Tried the solution here as well, but all in vain. Were you able to get it to work @smaira ?
I couldn't find dmg or other installable file for Mac either. Where can I find it?
That's kinda weird because the software supports macOS but put it on a platform 'Flatpak' that doesnt support macOS.
