What version of Keepass2Android are you using? Please follow these steps to find your app version:

  1. Click the icon in the top right corner
  2. Select Settings
  3. Click About
  4. Find the "Version" information and provide it here:

from just the title, it's hard to tell what the issue is. You can go to settings - database - export to save the database to a safe place.

Hi, For some time I am getting this note upon entry to the app that my database is not synchronized. The massage disappears very quickly and I cannot even fully read it, but I managed to understand something like my account is not properly initialized. I did download the DB to my mobile as .xml, however it received a file name of "(invalid)" so I'm not sure the file is intact. Opening in a text editor it does seem to look like an xml file, but it is very long and I cannot know if it is complete. What do you suggest? THANKS, Boaz

you cannot open .xml files in KP2A. You need a .kdbx file (encrypted). Where do you want to store it? Google Drive?

I have done an export of .dkbx file to the local mobile memory (export to Drive was blocked), but I get a file that got the name "(invalid)" which makes me doubt if the file is complete. How can I check if the download is correct? Assuming the download is good, what do you suggest I do? Should I re-install the SW or something similar? Would I be able to reload the DB?
Thanks!

you can try to rename the file in your Android file browser. Then go to KP2A, select "Change database" on the password entry screen and browse to the exported file?

Thanks. I managed to rename the exported file, but I'm concerned that if I change DB I will not be able to return to the current DB... I could not find where this DB is on my cellular. Tried entering the Android/Data/Keepass2android folder to look for my DB but I cannot access it and the size it shows is 0, so I'm not really sure what to do... Best, Boaz

where did you see that the size is 0? In your Android file browser or on the KP2A app?

You can safely select "Change database" in Keepass2Android. If you select that, it shows a list of recently opened database, i.e. by this you can always return to the current one.
