  • [X] I have read the FAQ section, searched the open issues, and still think this is a new bug.

Describe the bug you encountered:

Hi Philipp, I've decided to open a bug ticket instead of writing you an e-mail ;)

The auto-fill function does not always work on Android 14 (Pixel 8) with gboard.

Basically in every App, the Auto-fill option is not shown on the keyboard. I have to manually enter K2A and search for the needed entry in oder to fill out forms. And even that does not work, so I need to manually copy and paste my credentials.

Gboard version: 13.8.04.597073932-beta-arm64-v8a

I also tried the latest stable gboard version but still the same issue. Other Auto-fill apps work mostly fine without issues.

Describe what you expected to happen:

Show Auto-fill button on keyboard and fill in the form.

What version of Keepass2Android are you using?

1.10-pre

Which version of Android are you on?

14 - UQ1A.240205.004

can you give examples for such apps where it does not work? If you think it's related to Gboard, you can disable the preference option "Integrate with keyboard" under settings - app settings -password access - autofill.

Hi @PhilippC For me it's mainly the browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Brave, Edge etc.).

Sometimes apps like eBay and Amazon have similar issues but not on a regular bases.

Edit: I also use a different phone now (Nothing Phone 2a), so it's not caused by the previous Pixel 8.

Same issue on a Pixel 8 and Pixel Tablet (both Graphene OS), using Firefox nightly and Heliboard Especially usernames and 2FA tokens are not recognised. Just had this issue here on github login. No autofill option is offered other than for the password field. If using password field, username is not populated.

Edit: using version 1.10-pre, deactivating the integration just moves the autofill to a popup, but behaviour stays the same.
