KP2android offline, *.pdf - File attachment cannot be opened or can only be opened via a detour ?
What version of Keepass2Android are you using? Keepass2android offline, Ver.1.09e-r7 (also tested online version) - Android13
x.kdbx file works perfectly on Android8 (same Keepass Ver. as Android13), all file attachments can be opened with the "Office Documents Viewer".
Same x.kdbx on Android13 can open *.txt in the "Totalcmd-Editor"; *.jpg can be opened via (3 points: open with) "Show photos" (system app) - not with e.g. "QuickpicGalleryPro"
Problem: "*.pdf" cannot be opened - #App has no authorization# (e.g. I cannot grant this authorization to "Office Documents Viewer" - system does not allow it)
Question: which app is able or how can I open file attachments "*.pdf" offline in Keepass2Android?
Please let me know if this is no longer possible so that I don't test all possible apps for nothing.
Thank you, Greetings from Tirol

tested today: Ver.1.09e-r7, Android13
- Export file attachment to file; rename (invalid) to (invalid).pdf ... works! -Likewise with *.xls, *.txt, *.jpg
Perhaps this inconvenience can be remedied? Thank you
I had the same problem on samsung galasy s 23. I would split the problem into two.
- Save to cache and open - it is not working with some apps (samsung pdf reader, google drive pdf reader), but it is working with others (Adobe Acrobat, Dropbox pdf viewer, OneDrive PDF viewer)
- Export to file - in this I have the exact experience - it is exported as (invalid) - but renamed it is working as standard pdf
