are you talking about the autofill service? Did you test any other app if that works in Samsung browser?

this
i don't tested other apps, i don't have other apps that make this autofill stuff, so i don't know, sorry. keyboard is also by samsung.
Please enable debug logging in the settings - application - log file and also go to settings - application - password access - autofill service and enable "log autofill view". Then go to that view/page where you would expect autofill. Try to long-tap a field in which you want to autofill and see if you get an "Autofill" popup. In any case, after this, return to the app. Open settings - application - log file again and send me the file.
After this, disable logging again.
IMHO Samsung Internet has not enabled accessibility services, when installed from Play Store instead of Samsung Store. That's why it is failing with Samsung Internet on non Samsung devices sometimes. There are other missing feature to, when installing Samsung Internet from Play Store.
If you have a Samsung device, try to remove Samsung Internet completely and re-install from Samsung Store.
sorry for the delay, i missed the email.

when i long-tap on the password field, there are no pop-up menus.

i tried to reinstall browser from samsung store, it didn't help. i have a samsung device.
If i remember correctly, this was one of the reasons i removed this Samsung Internet together with Google Chrome (for other reasons) from my S23+ . Currently im using mainly Mull and sometimes Chromite (if i absolutely have to use a Chromium based browser). Both are working fine with the autofill from Keepass2Android and KeepassDX. Both are usually updated immediately after a new main release, so you don't have to wait long for fixes. Give them a try, they are available via F-Droid with automatic Updates.
