Feature Request: Import Keyboard > "Input Languages"

Open ijesaboy opened this issue 3 years ago • 1 comments

Under the Settings Menu Item "App >> Keyboard >> Input Languages", there's no apparent way to add a keyboard option that is not already listed.

I'm not sure what the standards are but I would be great if one could import a keyboard file format (e.g. .ttf or .otf file?) and thereby add an 'input language' since the available keyboards don't make all characters easily accessible.

On that note, I've love to make a custom keyboard for a few languages and as a newbie, I am curious if there are any tools folks recommend. Also, if this is already available as a plugin or something, I'd love to know.

Thanks

I've been exploring the project a bit more and found I could contribute by helping to translate Keepass2Android into other languages via your Crowdin page

I'm curious: if I were to complete a translation, would it become available as an input language under the Settings Menu Item "App >> Keyboard >> Input Languages"

Thanks
