Biometric unlock not possible even though cinfigured
On my new Pixel 6 / Android 12, I never get the option to use the fingerprint for quick unlock even though I have set the option in database settings.
I always have to enter the unlock digits manually.
Maybe that is because the Pixel does not have a fingerprint sensor but the fingerprint is read from the screen?
Do you have a large red exclamation point at all? I only use biometric for Quick Unlock, but there are times that I need to manually unlock the database and then change the setting to no biometrics and back to whichever option I want to use. If you add a new fingerprint for example, you'll probably need to "reconfigure" the biometrics within the app, just refresh it basically. On Quick Unlock, there is a large red exclamation that explains why android might have invalidated biometrics if that is the issue. I'm not sure if the same thing shows for the master password
Fingerprint unlock (normal and quick) work fine on my Pixel 6.
Changing the fingerprints (e.g. adding a new one, retaining one) will break keepass2android's ability to use fingerprint unlock. To fix this you must toggle off/on the Biometric Unlock setting in Settings -> Database -> Biometric Unlock.
Hopefully that fixes it.
