Shorten app name to avoid text wrap

To avoid ugly text wrap, please could you shorten the app name when displayed in icon-with-text format? E.g. "KP2A"

Alternatively, if not done already, zero-width line break indicator characters could be used. They won't be recognized by all home-screen apps, but it'd be an improvement for those that do.
