Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. Ability to add artwork cover/images to *non-steam steam remote play games (and on a separate filter/category so to not confuse it with steam/shortcut games)
Describe the solution you'd like Add another category steam/shortcut games for *non-steam steam remote-play games
*by non-steam, I mean games that are added as shortcut to my host PC, and are recognize as streamable by steam deck, but without cover-art (e.g. I added Diablo IV as steam shortcut)
Describe alternatives you've considered painstakingly manually add them via steam deck's UI
Additional context Right now all streamable
Hmm I don't know how to get the information about which games to get. My first plan would be to manually add some images and then see how they are named by steam.but even with that information how would BoilR know which games the host has?
From what I know the Remote Play Client pulls the Images for Non-Steam Remote Play Games directly from the host. If you have all your Stuff setup there it should transfer, could be wrong tho. Has been a while since I used this. Switched over to Sunshine/Moonlight.
Found my notes again.
Set all the Covers up on the Host. Best to just copy the Folder on the host that holds all the Images in your Steam/userdata/{SteamID}/config Folder over to the Client and place it in the same Directory. That will apply all the Artwork on the Client as well.
