Installing PlayableSayo Mod gives me '>' not supported between instances of 'int' and 'NoneType' fatal error

No idea what this means and this is the only mod I've attempted to install. The instructions state to "copy the structures and sdmmlib folders from the mod and paste them inside the SimpleDSCSModManager folder (make sure to make a backup of the files that will get replaced) and replace the files when prompted to. Don't skip this step or the mod manager will not be able to install the mod." The instructions also state to install SayoAmi.zip and SayoKeisuke.zip one at a time which is what causes this error. Attempting to install the original folder, playablesayomod.zip, gives me the error within the manager itself that the mod format is not supported. The mod itself is only a month old if that's relevant. Any idea what to do?
