Expansion of News Feature
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. A couple friends have mentioned they never know what to play because they don't want to sift through a massive wall of games.
Describe the solution you'd like Adding an auto-populated "New Releases" section to the news tab could give users a better idea of what is available to play.
Describe alternatives you've considered I've considered using chatgpt to write a python script to auto-populate the news.md file with a list of games added to the vault in the last 30 days, however I have no idea how to set that up to run unattended so it'd be annoying to have to remember to run the script manually every time I add things to the vault.
I believe some sort of carousel of the, say, latest 5–10 releases would be okay, but they can also always just sort by "recently added" in descending order.
I don't see a recently added option in the filters? Nevermind, date added does the job.
Yeah, sorry, I had remembered it incorrectly. The correct setting is Date Added → Descending Order, and I actually have "retain filters" setting enabled, so it is my default after all. Anyways, a "Recently added Games Carousel" would still be pretty nice in the news, like steams advertisements.
