Global search for server games list AND installed games list

Could we make the results for Filtered Search options global? The intent is that results are applied to the Server and Installed Game sections. (And then the Filtered search options can be moved to somewhere more "global"; perhaps above both the Installed and Server Categories?)

How could this be accomplished? What do you think?

This would mean huge and i mean immensely huge efforts from both client and server-side, but we may look into it in the next large ui update.
