Feature Request: Show single keystroke by mouse pointer

I have an instructional video I am trying to create where there are a lot of shortcut keys used. The viewer's focus is always on the mouse pointer, and the short cut keys are used in combination with mouse movements, so it would be much more clear if there was a keystroke shown by the mouse pointer, it does not need any history, just the current keypress sequence. It would also be helpful to show when the shift key or alt key were being held down, even if they are not followed by another keystroke. The application I am trying to video uses a lot of [Shift]-[Left mouse click] and things like that.. showing shift was being held down while the mouse click happened, near the mouse pointer, would make this more clear.

Release v1.0.0: The part with Showing the modifier keys next to the button indicator is done, but the shortcut window is still fixed.

Showing the modifier keys is great! Unfortunately my application has a black background, so I can never see them in it. it would be helpful to be able to customize the color of the modifier. It would also be helpful to be able to customize the size and position of the modifier independently of the mouse.
