Support for DX11 or 64bit games?

Open soupjake opened this issue 10 years ago • 6 comments

Hey PeterTh,

First off, love the work. However, I'm having issues with GeDoSaTo hooking onto games like Titanfall, Battlefield 4 and Bad Company 2 which are either DX11 or 64bit or both. Does GeDoSaTo not yet support these or am I just doing something wrong?

Thanks,

Jake

No you're not doing it wrong it doesn't work with DX11 yet. I know Durante has started working on it but I can tell it's a crazy ass work to port all that to DX11

Ah right that's okay then. Thanks and hope the porting goes well.

On a separate note, you know anyway that I could use asmodean's post processing shaders with something like SweetFX? I wanna use the scene tone-mapping and blended bloom techniques which asmodean's has but SweetFX doesn't seem to have them.

Any status updates? Thanks ^^

Just wanted to give this an upvote.

I do not know if the upcoming DS1 remaster binary is also 64bit and using DX11 but it is most likely. It could profit a lot from the GeDoSaTo enhancements (downsampling, shader injection, texture replacement).

Parts of it already can be done by other softwares (like iGP11, SweetFx or similar) but GeDoSaTo was always a "start and it works" tool which was very intuitive and easy to configure.

Support for 64 binaries and DX11+ would be very welcome.

This would be so awesome! I'd love to have a version working with DX11!

This repo/project is clearly abandonware by this point. So hold your updoots and whatnot.
