I haven't had time to investigate this particular issue yet.
I'll be adding a v3 tor bootstrap service soon, that should improve the tor connectivity.
I'm keeping it open until I get the new tor bootstrap node running. There is still a bit of infrastructure automation needed before I can put it live.
Ok I'll look at it, maybe it's the portable mode that is causing this.
I think that people expect PyBM to remain offline after closing the settings dialog. I think that maybe after closing settings, the three-choice dialog should show up again. That appears...
It looks like the commit uses github's PGP key rather than yours. Needs to be fixed.

Since mirrorwish's post, I read more about how this is addressed, for example the double ratchet algorithm or puncturable encryption. I would like to use something like that.
You need to use `from pybitmesage.bitmessagekivy.....`
tests need to be fixed.
