You didn't mention the command used to run this app , also running it through GUI isn't working

also if tried to run through the executable it-self I get this error ./custom-rpc: error while loading shared libraries: libgconf-2.so.4: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Sorry for the delay, I think it's mostly just dependencies being outdated. I'll try and look at it this weekend.
