Menu hover behavior improvements

When you take a direct path from the main menuitem to the submenu item you might flit over a different menu item for a split second and it will instead show you the submenu for that second item and not show you the one you really wanted. Can we use hoverIntent (or pure CSS somehow?) to threshold this so that it doesn't happen?
