Keybinds for messages
There should be ~~2 options~~ an option to control notifications for enemy team: ~~1) An ability to change delay for notification.~~ 2) An option to make initial notification(and whenever cheaters connect) automatic and all subsequent messages a key bind(when there are no cheaters on the enemy team keybind should result in something like "There are no cheaters on the enemy team detected, good job guys").
- is a duplicate of #70
- is different enough to stand on its own, in the future please make separate issues for separate suggestions unless they are tightly coupled. These will likely be implemented or discarded in the chat update
yea, i wanted to reference that one but couldnt find it
Not sure how I feel about telling people there are no cheaters on the other team. The more binds like that, the more potential for abuse and player confusion at the hands of cheaters.
Well, fair, could be just no message. That would work too.
I think the thing actually most worth while thing to consider here is the idea of "An option to make initial notification(and whenever cheaters connect) automatic and all subsequent messages a key bind." This could be implemented in a similar way to #205 should that actually make it in. The general idea of using auto generated echo aliases to control the tool could be very extensible and customizable, fitting in nicely with TF2 as a whole.
