using DS1307 as EEPROM

while we have a at24C32 IC on DS1307 module, can we save some data on it as EEPROM? I read that it has 56-Byte, Battery-Backed, Non-volatile (NV)RAM for data storage.

P.S: I hope I wrote the IC number correctly because the IC on my module didn't have a clear IC number to read
