Doesn't Launch

I tried to get this to work on my Kindle Paperwhite 2 (gen 6) and every time I try to launch the app I get an error stating "application error. The selected application could not be started. Please try again." I've tried a bunch of solutions. I've tried editing the settings.js files. I've tried renaming files. Nothing has worked so far.

I understand this is an older project, so I guess this is my formal request that someone forks this project and fixes some of these issues.
