Reporting wrong temperature values

OK this is odd when I select Fahrenheit I get the correct Celsius value shown in Home Assistant but my device shows Fahrenheit. If I select Celsius I get Fahrenheit value shown in home assistant with the celcious symbol behind and my device uses Celsius on the display of the unit.

May be I do ot understand your sentence, but seems that first case is correct because HA show temperature in Celsius, so it is informed that incoming temperature is Fahrenheit and convert the values to Celsius.
