Focus is buggy when deleting past search queries.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Type in a query, so it gets saved.
2. Press down. Make sure that 2+ queries show up in the list.
3. Press Delete to remove a query.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
It should be removed, and the list stays open.

Instead, it's removed, the list closes, then reopens a split second later.
