Markdown vs Carousel race condition

I have some markdown on a pane of a carousel. Sometimes the markdown is rendered before the carousel measures the content height, sometimes the other way around. If the latter is the case, then the height of the carousel pane is miscalculated by consequence the content is shortened.

Would be preferable that the carousel would either recalcualte its height after patterns have executed on one of its panes, or if I could switch of the auto height calculation features (which is a nice feature when it works).
