Great idea. By the way, we should be as agnostic as possible when adding newly discovered assets. My suggestions:

• allow auto-creation of new asset using a scan option or a global application option
• add a new field 'assets' or 'artefacts' in the results collected from the engine. This field will include new typed assets identified by the engine.

Yea. I believe what you are proposing is possible. Can you think of any other engine that might need to create new assets?

New asset creation is already happening for anything that have a finding (nessus,nmap ,etc)
