Sync a base build to a live character

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. I am usually trying to look at ways to improve an existing character and it can be frustrating to have to reset everything by importing from scratch each time.

Describe the solution you'd like I would like to be able to pair one set of tree/items/skills as a single variation that if you imported it from a live character can update again. And then additional trees/items/skill variations can be branched off that to experiment with changes.

Describe alternatives you've considered Current process is to create a new build from a fresh import each time and then re-add any planned changes (ie chase uniques, gg end items)

Additional context You can already have multiple trees and skill sets. Trying them together under a single grouping would be a great start. This is a very large set of features that would all go into the functionality described so multiple smaller feature requests would be easier if I'm not the only one that would want this

A couple of the features that this would use but would also be good by themselves: -Keeping a build synced to a live character.. ie remember the account/character it imported from and then be able to refresh with a single button. -Group tree/items/skills (maybe calcs) together as variations under the same build with a basic dropdown like the tree already uses.

Hello!

I was kinda wanting something similar to this as well. Sometimes I'll be following along with a build from poe.ninja but then they do a bunch of stuff and it's not clear how to properly follow their progression, so I thought an auto-sync feature would be really nice!

I've done some preliminary work on it, which is just UI for now, but it doesn't look like it'll be tooo much work. Here's a screenshot of what I've got so far:

My intent is to use the current tree and item set names and just append a timestamp. I'm not quite sure what to do about skills, though, as there's not really a skill set like there is for items.

If anyone has any feedback I'd be happy to incorporate it! :) (Also if you think there are any major hurdles I'll run into, please let me know. Thanks!)
