Very Laggy and Unresponsive on Certain Build

How is Path of Building expected to behave?

PoB typically loads information very quickly, such as gem drop down options, items, etc.

How does Path of Building behave?

There is very noticeable lag when going to put in a new gem. I usually have to wait 10-45s and sometimes the application will even freeze. It is only with this specific build, albeit I made a similar one, from scratch, and it too started experiencing this after some time. I am unsure if maybe it some calculation regarding minions or something that is causing it to behave as such. I use PoB a lot and this is definitely not how it normally behaves.

I am not a coder so I am unsure exactly what could be causing it, but if I had to guess it's some calculation that is taking far longer than it is supposed to due to whatever reason.

I did try other PoBs to make sure the issue was not on my end, and they work fine. I also sent the PoB to my friends and they confirmed that they experienced the same issue.

I tried disabling the zombies, the spectres, impale, but none seemed to make a huge difference.

How to reproduce the issue

1. Go to any skill
2. Try to put in a new support/skill gem
3. Significant wait time

FullDPS is expensive to calculate. Disabling it helps a bit. There's a lot going on in your build and the numbers have to come from somewhere.

Having this exact issue on all builds in PoB. This only started happening for me with 2.40.0. Trying to add a new support gem or skill gem group takes forever (~2-3x longer than pre 2.40.0), even on builds not using FullDPS. For builds without FullDPS, it's taking ~6-7s to bring up the pulldown for support gem selection (whether adding a new support gem or replacing an existing one), and 3-4s to generate the pulldown for adding a new skill gem. For more complex builds using FullDPS, it's about twice as long for both of these.
