Windows

Is your feature request related to a problem?

The main readme page on github (and the main website) do not offer any basic how-to and troubleshooting instructions after installing.

Describe the solution you'd like

Please add a short how-to and troubleshooting guide on main page and readme on github. Especially for how to authenticate with POE2 account and when it doesn't work.

Describe alternatives you've considered

google and youtube have not helped.

@Mizkii can you post that poe_api_response.json file, it should be in your %AppData%\Path of Building Community (PoE2) folder

ah see, this button combo written somewhere would be helpful! Thank you!

I don't want to hijack my own thread, but perhaps this real issue could turn into a good troubleshooting guide...

Here's what I see: Image

I have explicitly allowed Path of Building-PoE2.exe access in Windows Defender firewall.

I do not see such folder nor file in my %AppData% folder (but that could be because I use the zip portable version?) In fact I don't see any POBC named folders in Local, LocalLow, nor Roaming
