Needs investigation. I tested with some images intentionally rotated, they are shown correctly. Those in examples above are indeed get rotated incorrectly when preview is generated (but shown correctly in image viewer on PC), I guess there are some attributes that mislead conversion tool.

This sort of problem can only be fixed by having simplified web image editing tool in place (crop/flip/rotate) so the actual result is verified by human before it is uploaded and stored. This can be related to #133.

Before that, the way to fix those images with EXIF issues, while it may look normal in editor, rotate it 360 degree in the known/standard editor and save - most likely it will be it will look correct on upload.
