Same here. Currently, complex workarounds are needed to achieve reporting and breaking the pipeline.

@janisz unfortunatelly I haven't written a line of go code in my life. Maybe there is someone else with some go knowledge who could write the junit output.

I think it would be nescessary to remove the current behavior. Just add an additional search path for the .kube-linter.yaml. This shouldn't break anything in most cases. Alternatively an option...

Maybe we could create a feature request to ESH?
