Distributed systems are hard, we know that very well. When it comes to backup and disaster recovery options they are even harder.

A set of guidance, especially (if not only) for on-premise deployment scenarios, are needed to help users understand challenges connected to backing up a distributed system and connected to disaster recovery options.
