Meta Parts

Meta parts would be a nice feature to have. Meta parts act like "virtual" parts that can have multiple parts assigned to it.

Describe the solution you'd like These allow you to have the same part from multiple manufacturers. For example, resistors. You might want there to be one 120ohm 5% .25 watt carbon film resistor in your parts library. Many manufacturers produce this part, and this way you can keep track resistors from each manufacturer. This is more important with things like LEDs,, diodes and transistors.

Physical parts attached to the virtual part won't show up in searches, etc. This individual parts can be seen via a details tab or the like. The total of the virtual part should be the sum of all quantaties of the physical part.

Describe alternatives you've considered Having each manufacturer part listed individually can make it hard to find parts you want.
