[Question] How to use UV Animation?

Open ReleaseN opened this issue 1 year ago • 2 comments

Hello everyone! How to use UV Animation and what objects can I apply it to? I tried using the Shader Editor and arranging keyframes, but after exporting my building object, the sign did not want to animate. I'm also not clear on what I need to enter in the "UV Animation" name of the "Material Properties" section. Thank you in advance for your help with the tutorial.

Try importing a file with UV animation if you want to know how to set it up in shader editor. You need to connect a mapping node to the texture node and add keyframes to it.

Hello, Parik27. I tried to import the model with animation from "RW Animator" and also added my file with the ".anim" extension to Blender, but the animation did not play in any way, despite the presence of keyframes. Moreover, I don’t know how to create a similar “.anim” file in Blender and whether I need to enable the “UV animation” checkbox. I and other beginners would be very grateful for the tutorial you provided.
