Remove 'Night' Alarm Setting from Apple Home App view
Alarm system
I set up an EVO192 panel via IP150 successfully with home assistant and MQTT, following this guide in the wiki for installation and this guide for integration.
Environment
RPI
Git branch
3.1.0
Question
I'm making all home assistant devices available to the Apple Home app via the Homekit integration in home assistant. That successfully makes the alarm_control_panel entity available as alarm in the Apple Home app. However it shows modes for Home, Away, Night and Off. But my EVO192 panel doesn't have the Night option. In the homebridge wiki there is a mention of this and an explanation how to not show that Night option:
EVO panels do not support
armed_night. You can use:"restrictTargetState": [ 0, 1, 3 ]
But I couldn't find the equivalent to this using only home assistant. How can I disable the Night alarm mode using the home assistant add on?
This is merely esthetic as pressing 'Night' in the Apple Home app currently just does nothing but trying to arm forever, which can be confusing.
It is a feature request. I won't be able to implement that until Home Assistant will support that.
I do not see any settings related:
