Triage is performed to find the root cause of the bug, timeboxed to ~1 hour.

@Dschoordsch After doing a thorough spec of this solution, we found out that the problem is a result of the way the emoji status updating logic was implemented. Apparently, the logic causes the entire standup message component to re-render, thereby resetting the scroll position of the component. Hence, our proposed solution would involve reimplementing the entire emoji status update logic. What do you think? Cc @mwermuth
