Add Icons for Godot files

Open irasponsible opened this issue 8 months ago • 4 comments

Mimetype icons for Godot Scene (.tscn), Resource (.tres), Shader (.gdshader), and GDscript (.gd) files.

64x64: sceneresourceshaderscript

Used the existing Godot app icons to make these, slightly modified to fit. Colours roughly match the icons from KDE Breeze, so not re-inventing the wheel there.

No movement on this but just a thought (as I'm not one of the development team): I am not certain if it is part of Papirus's house style to have part of the icon on the document to be covered by the fold. Perhaps the Godot icon should be smaller so that no part of it is covered by the fold.

Eh, I did play around with it, but this is what worked best? I'll admit I'm not totally happy with how they turned out, but I've been using these myself since I made them and they blend in A-OK.

Can't really move the logo down, and making it smaller throws off the proportions of the eyes and 'jaw', or you have to take it completely off the pixel grid. Hard to find the balance with a fairly complex logo (at all the different sizes, too...).

Although in hindsight it might have made sense to just use a blank coloured page or just the coloured icon for the 16x16? Maybe just "GD" instead of the logo?

if they are text files, the fold should be included, but I wouldn't worry much about the overlap

@irasponsible oops, all four 32px icons got the transform=matrix. you may have pasted some element from another size and inkscape scaled it funny. it would be better to remake the affected element to avoid the matrix (i suppose remaking it once and pasting it across 32px icons shouldn't make inkscape fussy)
