Is it possible for papirus to just theme app icons, but leave system icons untouched?

I want papirus to theme icons for applications, but the system icons (sound, wifi, trash, etc.) I want to remain untouched.

How would I go about leaving folders untouched? I found

./32x32/places/folder.svg
./24x24/places/folder.svg
./64x64/places/folder.svg

./48x48/places/folder.svg

but I am not sure if these are the right ones

There's also the icons for denoting shortcuts, or read only (the lock) etc.; I am not sure where to find where those are.
