[BUG] Display mode not switching until exiting reader

Describe the bug The display mode does not change from single page to double page until exiting the reader and reentering.

To Reproduce Change the reader type to horizontal and set display mode to single or double. It does not change until you leave the reader, and enter the chapter again.

Expected behaviour It should change immediately. Still works as intended with the legacy reader.
