Hard no from me, this breaks proxy networks

Yea so what if this was under a config option and perhaps only ran if bungeecord was set to false? Would like your opinion here, else we can just leave this to fix for Mc?

If there's a way to know 100% that a proxy is being used, that's probably OK, otherwise I think the setting should default to off.

Closing, as in general this is such a trivial issue and can easily be fixed yourself if you really want.
