requirements.txt pinned to legacy versions of libraries

Is your feature request related to a problem?

The current version of the Collection requirements file is pinned to old versions of:

  • pan-os-python==1.8.0 (Jan '23)
  • pan-python==0.17.0 (March '22)
  • xmltodict==0.12.0 (Feb 2019)
  • panos-upgrade-assurance==0.3.0 (Sept '23)

Describe the solution you'd like

Should this be hard-pinned to these versions, or can it be made to >= versions? Current versions (from pypi) of the python packages are below:

  • pan-os-python 1.12.1
  • pan-python 0.25.0
  • xmltodict 0.13.0
  • panos-upgrade-assurance 1.0.1

Describe alternatives you've considered

Fork our own copy of the collection, upgrade and test. Not desirable.

Additional context

We are working on multiple automation use cases for Palo Alto firewalls and would like to ensure that we can leverage the latest features of Palo Alto Firewalls.
