Progressive Scan codes

Hello, I've noticed some cheats like RE4 also have force 480p options albeit not enabled:

I'd like to see these 480p cheats on more widescreen games and some way to tell that it can be enabled without opening the cheat and seeing it "there"

EDIT: I'd like to tag this as a improvement/suggestion and not a bug per see.

That's understandable, that said, this could be a script to run on the downloaded cheat directory that enabled the progressive scan/480p option for all games that support it; sidestepping triangle+X and hidden methods this way. This would also solve what bothers me the most, games that never remember that you set them to progressive in the first place.

For this I think they should be normalized (my suggestion: //Forces progressive scan/480p). This could enable a game loader software to have a toggle that applied either automatically a game by game basis, or in accordance to it's own internal definitions (for instance, OPL if it's being displayed at 480p, 720p or 1080i, as that would mean the better cables you mentioned are in)

To make this request less of a waste of time for you and others, I made a list of the .cht files with such strings:

⚠️ progressive codes that are potentially unstable, enabled by default or just not there.

I was expecting more ProgressiveScan/480p cheat codes for NTSC-US than for PAL and Japanese, but that doesn't seem to be the case. I was also expecting multi-region games with these codes being common, but that's also not the case.

Sidenote: If "Progressive Scan/480p" is normalized I think "Widescreen/16:9" should be too also so software loading games (or a script after downloading all these files) can someday distinguish what to turn off or not according to it's own settings.

I'm willing to help if there's something I can do to expedite this. Willing to edit all the files according to a moniker agreed upon, also willing to test games.
