Move away from "ground-truth"
One criticism received is the problem with the term "ground-truth". It is true that "ground-truth" usually means something like an unalterable, infinite, and unwavering truth. We have used it in the flit tool mostly to represent a pseudo-trusted baseline. So to avoid confusion, the terminology of "ground-truth" ought to be replaced with something more demonstrative of the intended meaning, such as baseline (e.g. "baseline compilation") -- although the term baseline is also overloaded to mean quite a few things.
Suggested replacements: control compile standard compile diagnostic compile trusted compile established compile stable compile
So far in the paper, I've been using the "baseline compilation" term. What do you think about that term? A secondary choice would maybe be the "control compilation".
