The transition when clicking on a link in source code is too abrupt

Summary

Clicking on a link in the source code immediately moves the world to the destination. The transition is very abrupt and causes you to loose context of where you were and are in the codebase. It would be nice to make that transition smoother, or at least let the white line to the origin linger for a while after the transition.
