Hits for searches of a term vs a topic

Hi guys,

I have noticed that for some terms, google trends give you the option to look at the hits for the TERM or the TOPIC. See image attached. Is it possible to specify on gtrends to look for the TOPIC of the specific term? thanks!

Thanks a lot @ankargren ! sorry for the (very) late reply. Tried it now, and @mamut86 code for retreiving the topic entity works like a charm :)
