Use Ephemeral Messages where appropriate

Ephemeral Messages are a new type of message which only a specific user can see. These messages can be dismissed by the user or will be deleted automatically after some time or when the Discord client is being restarted.

The new ephemeral message flag can only be used when reacting to a slash commands but makes it possible to send private messages to users directly on the server. This can be used for help messages or other intermediary steps when using a command.
