Yes, unfortunately it's still blocked. The issue in the repository of VS Code is still open. Hopefully, it will be implemented someday. I'll keep you informed :)

Hi @nemroff, unfortunately wildcards for folders are not working because it's not supported by VS Code yet. We have to wait until VS Code will implement this functionality for icon...
@alivefromupstairs Sure, if there is support for wildcards for VS Code Icon extension, then this can be implemented in a similar way.
