it.date only has year value

The date of the Zotero document is August 1, 1989. Use it.date to get 1989. Is it not possible to recognize dates in this format?

Is it convenient to post the link to the literature? Is it automatically imported or added manually? I should not have done any additional processing on date field.

All the Zotero items I've tested were clipped by the zotero-connector extension of Edge. Here are some examples:

• https://doi.org/10.1145/3295500.3356210 with date November 17, 2019
• https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7177153/ with date 2020-4-16
• https://ieeexplore.ieee.org/document/1592745/ with date 2000-11

The Eta variable it.date seems to get only the year from these date fields.
